Region 2 Ride for MDA
October 2006, Pages 12 and 13

An early morning ride through Northern Indiana is a great way
to wake up. Especially if you don't really know where you are
heading. With a little help I was able to find my way, thanks.
Like most rides you line up and then walk around till the fateful
time comes to head out. I have to say the line just kept growing and
growing, I didn't think I would be able to get all the way back in
time.
After the long ride through winding country roads - We
returned for a quick meal, a bike show, Field Events, live
music and Brotherhood. The shade form the trees really helped
keep the party going for the long haul. Be seeing you next year.

Region 3 Rides for Jerry's Kids

I always enjoy going to new events.
MDA Rides are a great place to get together with those you know and
meet new friends. I also enjoy seeing how everyone else runs their
Rides, this was a great event for the day and the ride was at a good
pace, always love them that way.
After the Ride it was time for some
more riding in the form of Field Events and then the Grub.... I've
been on plenty of rides before, but the choices of food were among
the best. Electric Amish played later, missed that, but heard they
did a great job.

Elkhart County Summer Fest
October 2006, Pages 22 and 23

Summer Fest Party, What can I say.... As one of the newest parties
in Region 1 - it has sure grown! I am hoping this is a trend for the
event. There are plenty of things to keep one occupied for a
weekend.
After a good ride there, they had Spit Shine to listen to on Friday
and Element on Saturday. Field events for everyone (people and
motorcycle events). Sometimes it is more fun to watch then anything
else.
If that isn't enough, just walking around and checking out the place
is cool. Oh, there is also a salute to the wall (Region 1 Memorial
Wall) third year for doing this, always a good touch for any event
to remember their missing brothers and sisters.
